Training and Internships
Internships are short periods of professional experience. During an internship you will be doing similar work to a normal employee of the organization under joint supervision of your Master coordinator and a manager in the firm. The internships give you a taste of what graduate work is like and can help you make industry contacts.
The Master in Tourism Management provides guaranteed internship opportunities with leading organizations in the industry for all the students passing the compulsory teaching modules. We believe that these internships are a useful way for you to develop and enhance your professional and practical skills.
Many employers use internships and placements as a fast track onto subsequent regular contract. Even when it is important to know that recruitment is not necessarily the final step of the internship experience, most internship opportunities advertised by large recruiters are aimed at Master students. There are some paid and unpaid opportunities depending on the firm and year. In any case, the students know the whole details about the available internships opportunities and select the opportunity according to their preferences.
We have a good range of firms providing specific internship opportunities for our Master students. Additionally, we also try to accommodate students’ special preferences or needs by looking for the very specific organization if it is not in our list of business collaborators.
